Issue #309 - October 2008
Windows are often overlooked as opportunities to give rooms a personal touch. For years, window film has been used on cars and commercial buildings as a way to provide privacy and protection from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays. Now, easy-to-use kits are available at home centers to bring these benefits to your home — with the added bonus of style.

The slide show to the left shows how to use window film to create a playful atmosphere in a children’s bathroom. We chose adhesive-backed film from Gila in Frosted (GilaFilms.com) because we liked the permanence of the installation.
